Well, what can one coach do?
What really happened you can see right beside this, as for the hammering grief of the Pact players, let's not go there...

Coach Wotfudboy made a good performance (and was curteous enough not to take advantage of a 'get the ref' result) and it was the dice that decided the outcome of this game. In turn 8/2, the great feat was accomplished with a rush, gfi, hand-off, dodge and gfi with 0,7% chance of success. Guess if those chaos dwarves made it happen!

All in all, it was a great game and wholly without serious injuries or deaths. Coach Wotfudboy managed to snatch most of the money out of the ticket-box, though, so the Pact couldn't afford the awaited ogre and had to enroll a clumsy troll instead, for the next game, but they hope for a strong performance from him...

A very close game, BUT WHAT AN ENDING!!! But more on that later!

Coach Wotfudboy won the toss and decided to kick to Evil Pact, as Zapp, the Hoof's emerging star hobgoblin had just noticed that some sneaky git had greased his shoes, making him as agile as a very drunk Troll!

Although the Hoof the Ball team applied pressure it was about the 6th turn when coach chaireas was celebrating Screener going over the line... this left coach Wotfudboy with little to no time to work the ball up the field. Instead, his dwarves set about Evil Pact... leaving 3 KOs and a BH by half time. It seemed that the KO'd Evil Pact players thought it was safer in the KO box as they refused to come out for the 2nd half.

With at least a 2 player advantage, Hoof made steady but slow progress down the field until the ever reliable Zapp (who had removed the offending grease after Pact had scored) went over to equalise.

Hoof kicked off to Pact, and coach chaireas decided upon a defensive rethink as the kicker was about to punt the ball up. Pact looked to have things in control for a short time until a well placed fist on the ball carrier sent ball and player scattering... only for the Pact minotaur to pick it up!!!

The crowd went quiet as they expected things to end in a boring draw... but Hoof (the Bull centaur) had other ideas. The Minotaur was eventually put down, with Hoof running the ball in the last turn, going for it once, and then successfully handing off in a tackle zone to Zipp, who was in 2 tacklezones. Zipp then dodged twice and successfully GFI to get a superb TD...

The chaos dwarf crowd were disgusted at this obviously elf like play, and some refused to come back next game out of protest!

A very good game. 1-1 would have been fairer... but that's Blood Bowl!
