“The Avalanchers started in spectacular fashion, KOing two on the first turn. Then, with the overloaded right flank they focused on tying down any Dwarf who could get close to the ball carrier. One turn later and a very shell-shocked Dig Dug were 1-0 down. After a brief scuffle where Maxon was blitzed in a two dodge manouver, Óin managed to secure the ball and Go over for the equaliser.
Argain was killed in the next drive; the Catcher Toki tripped and injured himself sprinting to cover back before the previous TD. The Apo could save one, but not both. A lucky one dice blitz by Dorin injured Toki for the second time, and prevented the TD before the half.
Second half and we were receiving. Injuries were mounting up on both sides, and a lot of Norse were receiving treatment for being knocked cold. The free space that was left allowed Óin and Horan to link up for the second TD and, with a solid defence in the final turns, the win was secured.
