“How the fates have betrayed the Gypsies! With an early TD, it looked like the Men from Dark Water might dominate these ladies, but nothing could be farther from the truth! They came back from 0-1 to winning 2-1. This one was all about the coaching and Mr. Wyeth managed to move his ladies around the field in all the places I wasn't.
Even with 5-2 casualities, the Gypsies couldn't dominate, due to their huge level of reserves. No matter how many I knocked down, another angry girl was bolting from the sideline to fill the space. Ironically, the Thumpers walked away with no permanent injuries, while the new lineman, Grudge Bloodhand, got a bloody leg and will never quite move as fast as he did in pre-season training. Don't hold a 'grudge', Grudge! Consider it your initiation!
Dirk Demon continues to impress the crowd and picked up yet another MVP. Mang the Merciful started off with a crunch and picked up his first casuality in his first professional appearance. Modest as ever, he replied 'It was really nothing..."

The inmovable Ty had the Thumpers grind it up field midway through the 1st half for the score. Although the Gypsies knocked serval players out of the game. I knew I had the Reserves to back them up, What I didn't know was how well they would perform.
Coming off the sidelines for some rarely seen action, The second string really step up and made key blocks, moved very well off blocks to make double teams. But when the Gypsies knock the ball loose deep in there own territory late in the second half it was Naomi that step it up and recovered the ball for the game winning TD.”
