“Well, this was it, folks... the final game of MNF Season 3 and the one thing that could dethrone Game_Avatar's Cheesemasters. Fortunately, the elves were having a good night...

Right up until the end, there almost every single kickoff roll was an extra RR for the elves. In the last few turns of the game, we finally got a blitz (against chaz, naturally... like the rest of the match) and some decent weather... The blizzard which started the game didn't pass until my 5th or 6th turn of the second half. Conveniently, right after the Warrior's sole score and setting me up for a 2-turn TD and a blitz to score a fourth point and end the game. Way too convenient.

Chaz played a decent game but the blizzard exacerbated his lack of speed (all his GFIs tanked) and I was rolling pretty well right up until the end and an ugly string of snake eyes. The real kicker was that AV7. Not a single elf was sent off the pitch at any point. The only armor broken resulted in stuns. All game long. And a lot of elves were left on the turf when you consider that my niggler sat out so I only had 2 blocking players and not a single dodger. By all rights, that MB on the mino and CW should have left me hurting - especially since I accidentally used my Apoth on the niggler (to no effect, naturally). I didn't even realize until around turn 6 that I had no doc! It was just that sort of night.
