“The Nous Sommes Perdus won the toss and decided to receive, and proceded to pound the Squeakers into oblivion, knocking out 5 players on their way to scoring an easy TD just after halfway into the opening period.
Luckily for the Squeakers, 4 of the 5 knocked out players recovered in time for the next kickoff, and they stormed their way through to a lighting quick TD to even the scores. The Nous Sommes Perdus had enough time to score a second TD in the opening period, but had the ball stolen from them by Squeakers star player Kwikkwik and his younger brother Sneakkwik picked up the loose ball and scored a second TD to finish the opening period.
The second period was all Squeakers as they scored another 3 TDs to the Nous Sommes Perdus 1, as Kwikkwik sacked the ball carrier time and time again for his younger brother Sneakkwik to swoop on the loose ball and score.
-------------------
A topsy turvy game that I could have easily lost or drawn if my opponent had chosen to stall in the first period and pound my remaining 6 players into the ground. My opponent was a very sporting coach who decided to score and let me back into the game and once I got a good start, it was always going to be hard for him to catch up thanks to my two defensive players Kwikkwik and Fleshtearer.”
