“The third game of the season was a all-out undead scrap. This time the Allstars faced off with the Hellspawn II:s. A team who's coach figured that a variety amongst the lineup-players, instead of a swarm of Zombies, would give the team a edge and hopefully lead to many and glorious victories (yes, it's actually true!). That was his first mistake. His second mistake was overconfidence in his players and pre-game ridicule of the Allstar lineup. Of course, any such badmouthing only makes the Allstars work harder towards their collective goal; to someday, somewhere, win one match. The game started with a riot. Allstar-fans are known for their unpredictability, throwing objects and abusing anything within reach, even if it happens to be a Allstar key player. After the 6-turn holdup, the Allstars received the kick-off and began the usual attack down the lower lane. The Allstar players showed their mettle early on when Caesar Casulty managed to pick the ball up successfully, without the use of rerolls! After this fine start to Allstar play, Caesar unfortunatly gets somewhat overconfident and tries a pass to Peter Puss which fails miserably. This enables the Hellspawn-players to retaliate at the unfortunate Allstar players that had pressed on over the line of scrimmage, believing that reinforcements would follow. Freud Famine gets carried off-court during turn 8, KO:ed. The second half started without Freud with a Allstar kick-off. The Hellspawns managed a quick snap, which left the Allstar Line-of-scrimmage defenders hanging loose. Two mummies made short work of the Allstar front defence.. Winnie Victim lived up to his name and was carried off-court seriously injured. The Hellspawns wasted no time and an all-out assault followed over the whole LoS. Allstar defences were forced back only to regain foothold when a retaliation strike was initialized by the Allstar defence specialist, Ringo Rotten. Carl Corpus made a daring stand for his team and, single-handedly, attacked a opposing mummy without result. At this point, the Hellspawn mummies did pretty much what they wanted at the center of the field. All opposing Allstar players had either been knocked down or knocked out. This gave the Hellspawns a break through in Allstar defences and a real chance of scoring. Atleast they all thought so.. Peter Puss, the star player of Allstars, executes a perfect dodge and proceeds to successfully blitz the ball-carrying Hellspawn opponent. A true Kodak moment! Now that the Allstars realized that they have a chance of drawing, they doubled their efforts. With Peter Puss guarding the ball, the rest of the team initiated a offensive directed towards Hellspawn wights. Zeb Sore, inspired by Peter Puss, tried a dodge! Unfortunatly, since Zeb's not a star player, he gets carried off-court, KO:ed. The last turn of the game starts with a furious assault by Hellspawn players. Carl Corpus and Ringo Rotten is mowed down by the attackers. Both suffers serious injuries, but gets to watch the rest of the team stand firm and manage a draw! A draw! The first step towards world domination.. ”
