Initially demoralized by the ease in which Raising Riders scored first, the Scholars and Gentlemen were unable to mount an offense for the rest of the first half, only emerging down 0-1 due to some terrible rolling on the undead side, and some timely knockdowns.

Being unable to handle the ball would be a plague to both teams for the entire game. Ultimately, the team to advance was decided by the paper armor of the unfortunate ghouls.
