“This game was marred by a disagreement of sorts. When I accepted the match i freebooted a longbeard. Not the most dangerous recruitment, and not one that my opponent would worry unduly about, I thought. Obviously I was wrong. When he complained, I apologised, and gave him the chance to back out of the game. The offer was turned down, and the match started.
First half, and both sides beat upon each other for 8 turns. Some ground was made, some lost, both teams went in at half time feeling a bit more roughed up than when they started. The fact that we fouled the Ogre turn 8 did not go down well.
Second half, and we were disconnected shortly after Galrung was niggled by the crowd. Upon resumption i could not see the field of play, but instead of trying to sort the problem, Pmg was more concerned about establishing the validity of my claim. Óin was then SI in a foul, at which point I became a little fed up and effectively did not take part in the last few turns.
It is a shame that the match deteriorated into a bit of an ugly brawl, because the first half was good fun, and Pmg has proved a great opponent in the past. Hopefully it was just a bit of frayed nerves. He did play well, and fully deserved the win.
Player of the game: An uninspired match in which Galrung was the only stand out. Unfortunately it turned out to be his last match.”
“After beeing sick for a couple of days home I overreacted to the hired freebooter and spend the entire game in an even worst mood than the one i was. Not my usual behaviour, so I apologize to Trif who I really like to play, as everyone can check in my info for some time now.”
