“It was a tough choice to challenge the skavens since we started the tournament as a weak unskilled chaos team. We started strong however, and managed to send a few players from the pitch. We also managed to steal the ball and score in their drive. We lined up again and tried to defend and did so fairly well. We almost managed to get hold of the ball. Unsure hands fumbled the ball when trying to pick it up and then one of the beastmen failed a block and the ball was lost and the touchdown was inevitable.
We played a little careless and did not protect our ballcarrier as well as we should have. The skavens were quick to take advantage of this and with some lucky moves they managed to get the ball in their possession. We blitzed their ballcarrier but the ball had a very unlucky scatter for us, and it ended up in the hands of a gutterrunner. We really tried to move as many beastmen into the crowd to make things harder but it was not enough. The little weasle, cough rat, managed to sneak out from our box and ran for his life as well as for another touchdown. The rain started to pour down upon us, and now we only had three turns to score in to tie the game. We failed our first attempt at picking up the ball but did manage to move a few players into position albeit they could been better. In the second turn we did something out of faerietales.
We picked up the ball beside our own endzone and moved it just short of the opponents endzone. Our opponents were cursing, but we were not yet safe. A lone skaven blitzed our ballcarrier and knocked him down. Luckily for us reinforcement came from behind and blitzed the skaven into the ground so 'Slow Death' could get up from the ground, get the ball and score. ”
