“It was one of those days when one team just owned the other team all day long. Unfortunately for the Wanderers, they were the ones being owned by the Whisperin Wind.
The Wanderers had problems penetrating the Wind defence all day whilst the Wind were successful time and time again with each counterattack. It seemed that the Wanderers must have forgotten their armour today as the slightest touch seemed to send their players to the casualty ward time and time again.
--------------
My opponent had some poor luck in the opening period where he had problems with hitting, dodging and picking up the ball. This improved in the second half, but by that time, the casualties were mounting up and he was badly outnumbered so I had the run of the pitch.”
