How to protect yourself from having bad luck ?

They get a pitch invasion taking out a few of our players, they get riot when we have a few turns to score at the end of the first half so that chance goes away.
They score 6 casualties and knock out our players but it doesnt stop there. They also manage the most unlikely feats you can imagine with the best outcome you can imagine as well.

We still had a slimmer of hope of winning the game in the end of the second half. We had wanted to go through at the left flank but it was to crowded and we were forced to switch flank and go on the right one. But one lone human blitzes our ballcarrier, and ofcourse knocks him down and out from the pitch.
Well we can still score if we manage to dodge a 3+ with a reroll and blitz him with our Wight that has strip ball. Dodge with reroll fails and then we get another chance at the following round. We still have the chance but its a long shot since it involves going for it, block and a pass but not impossible.
Well, that chance did not live for very long thats for sure. Used up the reroll on the going for it and then rolled skull on the block.
