“This game started out to be interesting and tightly contested. The humans received and caged up. Verry sunny weather cut down the passing options somewhat. A giant mosh in the center of the field formed up and after 6 turns we finally managed to free the ball (which had eventually scattered to the ogre's hands) and take it in for a 1-0 lead. The advantage in this battle was mine due to the power of Frenzy and Sidestep on my witch elves, but also due to better dice. The humans faced a perfect defense on the next kick-off, which gave them little chance of scoring the equalizer in the remaining 2 turns.
That's when the dice (which had already been largely favorable to us) truly turned against the humans. The second half began with a massive pitch invasion taking out 6 humans...2 cas and 2 KO's I believe. We wasted no time scoring and going up 2-0. The next kick-off was tough for the humans, as they no longer had any catchers or their better thrower. The dice continued to betray them and we took the ball without much trouble and scored again.
Trif was a good sport through some pretty miserable dice.
thanks for the game, and better luck next time!”
