Frogs received first, and while Inxi-Huitzi picked up the ball, a few skinks served as guards for him, meanwhile, the Sauruses blocked the Dwar-ves best they could.
The Dwarven line, spent alot of time, fighting back the Sauruses, but the stronger lizzards won that duel. A cage of skinks, with a few Sauruses to back up, broke through the Dwarven line, and went to the right of the pitch. Here they stalled, while the Sauruses held up the Dwarves, until a late TD. Securing a 1-0 lead at halftime.
As the only Dwarven runner had been SI during the Lizards drive, they had to rely on their blitzers.
A dropped ball, near the middle of the field sent a horde of Skinks forward
to put TZ on the ball. Shortly after a Dwarf had been blocked into the ball, which sent it into a free square, making it easy for Xehuitzl-Cutzl to pick it up, and sprint all the down into the endzone 2-0.
This secured the match for the Lizards, but as both teams were down to 9, and 3 Sauruses were out, Mithril smiters were going for a consolidation TD. This time the Dwarven blitzer succeded in picking up the ball, and running forward with it.
A fireball from Frogs wizard, sent his guard down, but he stayed on his feet. However he was forced to change direction, as skinks were closing in. This sent him down the left side of the pitch, with a single guard at his side. Shortly after they were surrounded by Skinks, who managed to take them down, picking up the ball and handing it off to Ikiniki who in the dying seconds of the match pushed himself to the limit to score to 3-0.
A match where the Sauruses controlled the Dwarves, and where not much failed in general for the Lizards, the score might not be a complete picture of the match.
