“Gaaah I screwed up my skill update, that's never happened to me before...
Anyway, this was a very interesting game...Velociraptors dominated the first half, jumping out to a 2-0 lead with two great TDs by Jinzli "Cassanova" Ropari. The only event marring the first half was the death of another skink, Jazi "The Sneak" Rapli, who apparently failed to sneak away from a blitzing werewolf, and suffered an unfortunate demise, when our newly bought apothecarist decided to be an ass and roll a 1....
In the second half, the constant beating that the necromantic team was putting on our skinks started to show. Skink after skink was being carried away from the field on stretchers...in the 5th turn we finally succumbed to the pressure and ExoSkeletons were on the board. At that point we did not have ANY skinks whatsoever left on the field. So it was turn 5 and all we had was 6 sauruses...the coach called an unusual tactic, with all the sauruses retreating to the ball and surrounding it, without attempting to pick it up. This unusual holding defensive strategy proved succesful in the end, as we managed to hold on to our slim lead against the Necromantic onslaught...”
