#5 600 lb Kitten – Dead (RIP) #14 Well Behaved Child – Serious Concussion (-AV)
“Without a single foul, this was an absolute slug-fest in the first half. My gutter gave one of his dwarves a concussion with the first block of the game, and things went downhill from there. One of his dwarves broke my RO's jaw, but I apo'd him for fear of losing the game. The newly refreshed RO then bh'd one of his centaurs, but his prone mino leaped to his feet, 1d blocked my RO, and a pow later poor 600lb was lying dead. The fight must've gone out of the rats at that point, as we failed to pick up a loose ball to make the score 3-0 at the half, and the very next block his mino threw broke the armor of one of my throwers. The next block after that he bh'd a gutter. Talk about a pissed off mino! Sasquatch tried to make a game of it still, killing toby (a rookie dwarf), but I'm afraid that my team lost far more than his.
Second half, I feared greatly what I'd face, lining up only 6 rats to his 11 angry players. But it was the fans this time who got in on the act, invading the pitch to bh my lone standing gutter and knock out my other thrower. Easy as pie for him to score after that. The problem was he took too much time to do so, and with the ensuing kickoff my last gutter (who awoke from a ko hit) was able to play keep away with the ball, ensuring the victory.
We dedicate this victory in the name of our departed RO, and hope that his successor doesn't take as long to reach his first skill as he did...”
