“Ok, nothing to add but i've been away from BB several years. I wasn't aware that fouls do not give ssp nowadays, that's try to foul insistently, and, hey, i play for fun. I like the red blood over the green grass when i play violent teams..”
“He actually challenged me, so nobody say I'm cherrypicking. I was short players from a previous game anyway, so I accepted the recovery game. :-) As to be expected, he fouled as often as possible in an effort to even the odds somewhat. However, his decision to foul twice with his mummy might not have been the most tactically brilliant maneuver. The first time he got caught, but the coach argued the ref into letting him stay as it was only a stun, the big guy musta stumbled and stepped on the rat. The second time, though, the ref saw through that ruse and booted the mummy for the rest of the match. Combined with two niggling hits which didn't regen, a crowd-surfing wight who didn't regen, and a few ko's, even my undermanned skaven squad was able to outmuscle his undead. Only thing which kept the score from being higher was me trying to spread spp's around to certain players, not just letting the gutters have all the fun. But some poor decisions and bad dice rolls in crucial situations cost me two scores. Overall, I had fantastic luck, but my rat failed to catch the ball in the endzone in turn 8 first half, that's one score. Then my sv rolled double-skulls against a rookie skeleton, denying my rat ogre the opportunity to blitz his way through a ghoul for paydirt. Oh, well, my RO got MVP anyway, so he got his first skill after only his first game (and a double at that!).
Have to hand it to haltea--he kept gamely trying the entire match, regardless the odds against him. Just be warned, he's a player who believes a turn ain't done if a foul ain't thrown. I think there were three turns all game he didn't foul, and that's just b/c I had nobody prone! So if that ain't your cup of tea, shy away. If, however, you want a game vs a player who never quits, this guy's your man.”
