“EMU folks, beware. Do not walk into a fight with this team expecting a cakewalk. My fatal mistake was to not even look at the team before challenging it, or I might've backed off and kept my team to another day. This match solely, however, was not the deciding factor in the team's retirement. Rather, it was the fact that the team's non-MNG BC rolled -ST on aging, and with no money to replace him and no feasible way to get the money without playing at least 5 more games, I sent the team off into the sunset out of mild boredom with them and utter disbelief in their abilities.”
“This EMU team has met its match today. The CD's expected to march into our stadium, knock us around a bit, foul a few players to the grave, and then brag to their fellow elf haters about their accomplishment. However, it didn't quite turn out that way...
A RIP in turn 1 of the game, and a SI in turn 2 pretty much set the tone for the rest of the match. He was breaking armor his fair share of the time, but lucky for me it was just ko's (who had trouble waking up). Meanwhile, his av 9 wasn't the protection he needed, as we were giving out stuns and ko's as good as we got, and the cas on top of that. The miners had never seen a woodelf team with two Str 4 lineelves and 6 guards helping each other out. Nor will they ever again, as I've learned the team has disbanded after this humiliating defeat. They weren't about to tell their fellow EMU teams and be shamed, so they chose instead to walk away to their respective homes.
ELVES, stand up and be proud!”
