“Game started well, with all three trees appearing (my two plus a star cameo) to start the game. The fouls flew hot and heavy this game, from the word go! The ref kept sending fling after fling to the penalty box, but the rest of the team didn't care! We were inflicting pain upon the biggies! However, they must've eventually decided enough was enough, as they racked up three niggles in the game's last three turns. Lousy winnings means we'll be severely undermanned next match. But hey, I'm normally a very serious type of player with my "regular" teams, and this was a refreshing change of pace! You know it's a different type of experience when you get niggled and laugh about it! I guess I could go stunty instead, and probably will after a bit, but to see my foe's responses when my chef denied him any rr's all game long, followed by the fouls...classic!

It's a pity more of my dodges didn't succeed, else I might actually have won the game, too. But my guys kept knocking themselves out dodging to get to the endzone, while my ball carrier just sat there waiting for a target to get the ball to. Eventually he waited too long, allowing the CD's to knock him over, steal the ball and score. A very deep kick prevented the chance at a TTM score. Second half, a failed dodge by his ballcarrier allowed me to steal the ball from him, and slowly (mv 5 after all) make my way downfield, while the rest of the flings and trees ran interference. Between the ref throwing flings out for fouls, plus his ko's/cas he inflicted, I had three trees and my ball-boy left by turn 8, but that was enough to tie the score.

Sorry, Nemerus, if you found the game unsportsmanlike. If you were to play ANY of my other teams, you would receive a good, clean game of skill and strategy, without fouls. However, consider this a lesson in what to expect when you challenge halfling teams in the future--very few (if any) rr's and lots of fouls coming your way! The little guys fight the only way they know how. ”
