#6 Quanco – Broken Neck (-AG)
Frogs received the ball in pouring rain.
Right from the start the Lizards seemed far more keen, symbolised in particular by Tekilâ who blitzed on the right flank and BH a skeleton.
As Xetlipocutzl picked up the ball, he ran forward towards the line of lizards on the now opened right flank. The slow Khemrian players had little to do but trying to close the flank, and in two turns it seemed they had succeded.
But some blocking from the surrounding Sauruses among others Tekilâ BH yet a skeleton. However throughout the match, not one Khemri failed he´s regenerate roll.
This left a hole in the Khemrian defence where Xetlipocutzl first dodged past two players and then pushed himself to the limit for the TD. 1-0. roughly midway through the first half.
As the ball was kicked Frogs caught Akhanmanron´s players off guard blitzing through their ranks. This resulted in Ikiniki catching the ball, but as Quanco tried to block the mummy Hersen, he was struck down and out - even with 2 assists.
The coach quickly sent the apo out to save him, as he realised his mistake however he yelled at him to stop and get back at the bench. However the judge ruled that he was only allowed on pitch one time a game, so he was effectively of no effect.
In the following blocks the ball carrier was downed, but as no skeletons could pick it up, Tenehuiniu ran in picked it up, and continued out towards the left flank, with a bodyguard of skinks around him. The slow Khemrian players had no real countermove so he could rather easily score to 2-0.
And in reality the decision of the match.
Yet again the Frogs caught the unaware Khemri players offguard and blitzed downfield. This however resulted in nothing, and so the Frogs could go to halftime up by 2, and still with the wizard.
The second half started with the Khemrian players caging around the ball, while the Mummies owed the line. However as a dodge by Raknor - which certainly wasn´t planned by the undeadcoach - failed and he BH himself things seemed diffucult for the Khemrian players.
Even though the Thro-Ra picked up the ball and ran forward protected by some Mummies, a fireball sent down from wizard sent one more Mummy out - severely burned. This left two Sauruses able to blitz the ballcarrier, and from there on, it was a fight around the ball, with the only really exciting move being when one of the skeletons blitzed Tenehuiniu with such ferocity that both we´re injured.
So the game ended 2-0 in favor of the Lizards. A pretty fair result as the Undead players never got the ball across the middle.

Well, I guess the pouring weather and the two blitzes made the game very difficult to me. I also hadn't the money to answer to his wizard, money he maybe should have saved for next rounds.

I have to give topper credit. His first TD, even if I pressured well was deserved. I leaved a hole he could used and should have gotten a player at the contact of his skink. My team was doing bad, and even if I tryed to hit skinks, I did not get them out.

But I also played poor. By two times, I figured some good though plans, started the drive, and blitzed the bad player. How could I let such mistakes happen? Don't know. Probably that that's why I do not belong to FUMBBL elite.

And when you play fumbbl elite, you better should never do any mistakes. The level at which I Played would maybe been enough to beat an everyday coach on fumbbl, but a top tier like Topper, you have to be at you're best be a bit lucky.

Good Luck Topper, May you win this championship.
