“Dwarf on dwarf battle and the Techies came out on top. My luck was pretty good this game...getting 5 casualties vs a dwarf team isn't that easy a feat to do, especially since I rarely foul. Got some lucky blows in though and that made my task easier in the long run.

I kicked off to him, and was able to stop his drive short (barely) and get the ball back...But I could not score either, so the half ended in a 0-0 tie..but I had put one opponent in the KO box, one BH and one SI..might have been 2 BH by then.

Recieving at the start of the 2nd half, the Krushers got a blitz, but were unable to secure the ball. The dwarves of Karak University secured the ball and marched down field for the 1st score of the game on turn 3 or 4.

Disaster struck the Krushers on the ensuing KO, as 3 players missed the drive due to Moreley's revenge...added to the 5 in the injured box, so only 7 dwarves were available to try to score against the defense of KAMU.

His agily 5 runner got deep into our territory, then threw the ball down field, hoping to keep it out of our hands. But Flash was able to get tot he ball and throw it to Larry Long Legs (the #2 scoring active Dwarf in Ranked), who got across midfield. But he was stunned by a desperate blitz. Tim the Terminator had to pick up the ball and run it in for the TD...his 1st SPP's since (re)joining the team.

Special mention goes to Junior "Say OW!", as he lived up to his name today, causing 4 of the 5 casualties.

Fred, Jr. learned how to kick, but his armor was getting in the way, so we had to cut back on his padding for future games (-1AV).

Frannie88 was a good coach, with a very good team of dwarves (two agily 5 players!!!!!). Luck was not with him today, or I'm sure the outcome would have been vastly different.”
