“I still have not figured out really how I ended up winning this one.

He started his drive in the first half by killing a zombie.
Well; it was a mere zombie and skill-less to boot but it was no good omen.

Damn right about that I was.
He blocked an amazing amount of mostly one die blocks and managed to fill my KO box nicely.
Including my 'good' mummy (block/guard) whom refused to play until the game was all but over.
(oddly enough receiving an MVP for this!)
He scored rather quickly but I was unable to return the favour.
(I did manage to seriously injure my ghoul with a failed dodge)

The second half I scored in my third turn; my sure hands-ghoul did a hand-off to my AG4 wight whom rushed forward to a waiting ghoul (blitzed free by another ghoul), quick-passing it and hey presto. Not even burning a re roll.

Damn shame the mummy did not return.

In his drive he tried rushing to my endzone with his catcher, ball in hands. This time my strip-ball wight managed to dodge away and blitz the man. There was a bit of a scrap in the centre but in the end I scored in my 7th turn. As an added bonus it was with a new ghoul and the one whom had scored earlier in the same match.

Too bad the fans did not like it though.
