Going in, I felt overmatched as the dwarves had 6 players with guard. But the Gim Hammerers have an weakness--only one agility 3 player on the team. I tried to exploit that but didn't do the best of jobes doing it.

1st score was a typical skaven 2 turner.
But I was able to hold the Dwarves scorelss on the ensuing drive

2nd half, the Hammers marched down field and made a score in turn 4 by dodging and 2 GFI's by their runner.

The kickoff, I got a quick snap but due to 2 failed GFI's in a row, my thrower didn't get to move before the longbeards swarmed him and knocked the ball loose.

Fortunately, I had tied down the runner with my Rat Ogre and he had to use his last RR to secure the ball with a long beard. My Thrower made a desperate 1db blitz on the ball carrier to knock the ball loose. A GR got the ball and tried to throw it down field, but fumbled.

On his Turn 8, a slayer tried to blitz my GR, but rolled a skull!! So, on my turn 8, my GR picked up the ball he'd fumbled, then just ran over to another waiting GR and handed off successfully...Thus scoring the winning TD on turn 8 in a pretty improbable finish...

No new skills.
No permanent injuries and a win..this was a pretty good game for the Ratz.”
