“The first half was very unlucky, with my drive getting stopped after a Bull Centaur failed a 4+ catch with a RR, only for the Skaven to come pluck the ball under my nose with a 5+ roll requiring no RR (the cheek!).
Fortunately, the second half smiled on me and the skaven lacked the numbers to stop the dwarves. The last drive saw a Bull Centaur succeeding to GFI 8 times to score! Sure Feet and Sprint rock! A very close game.”
“After my initial doubts about playing a strength team with ten rats I found myself with the ball in the middle of the first half. I did the usual gawking and all and proceeded to score a Skaven defensive touchdown off a cage raid.
Things got back to reality in the second half when I found myself with around 6 rats all half (Sweltering Heat didn't help any either.) In the end I had 3 or 4 and about 1 standing. The lone rat (Herr Cheney for those interested) did a valiant job trying to hold up his rampaging Bull Centaur with the ball, but ended up lying on his back staring at the wonder that is Strength 4 riding off into the distance to eventually move 26 squares in 3 turns to score a last turn touchdown.
As he said, it was close.”
