Well to the game...as usual, my luck was in top notch form....for those of you unaware of what my luck is, let me enlighten you...i roll 1's, my opponent rolls 6's....thats it.
,i got the kick off and chose to recieve, only to have a riot hold up the game for..wait for it....can you guess? yes 6 turns.
Luckily my luck held strong and i rolled several double 1's (including rerolls) for GFI and doges and pickups, to ensure i did not do anything at all with the remaing two turns.
Second Half begins, a bit mixed, and the Raiders score a TD, after several attempts by the Legion to remove the ball from the Raiders lineman hands...some one dice blocking...rolling..can you guess? yes 1's, and the occasinoal pushback....
A death quicky ensued, luckily tho the apoth worked for once.
Towards the dying seconds, the Legion make a breakthrough, and with some weird luck manage to get a chaos warrior 1 within range of a TD. The warrior is swamped but there is a chance..he blocks a goblin, knocking the goblin down, dodges one pplayer and heads for the end zone...this is turn 8 may i remind you...one GFI...passes..second GFI....can you guess?? yup...a 1.
Ball scatters, end of game.
To top it off, i roll a 1 on my fan factor, my opponent rolls a 6...
Sometimes, im sure there has been a huge probabilty error..and the mathmetacticians of this world have failed to factor in that :
Importance of dice roll causes the inverse proportion to occur...what i mean is...you have 1 in 6 chance to get a 1....unless its an important situation...in which case...you actually have 1 in 6 chance of NOT getting a 1..... (copyright to some coach who told me this :P)......that situations importance compunds the probabilty and basically shits on it...reversing it completely...so rather than having a roguhly 15% chance of getting a 1, you in fact have 85%....u think this theory is crap?? ask ANY coach out there who has had the same run of luck as i have....im sure they will all agree...
I do get lucky sometimes...but then...hell...i damn well deserve to with all the crap luck i usually get...i think i just save my luck up for one game, then blow it all..then have to spend the next 5 or 6 games getting it up again..
