“If it wasnt for the luck in the beginning AFK_Eagle would have had this game in the bag. My coaching skills being at an all time low and him being as skilled as he was it was pure luck in the end that gave us the tie.”
“He got 3 cas in the game's first two turns, including my str 6 blocking rat ogre. I figured that meant the game was all but over, esp since all 3 of his cas came from a skillless orc on a 1d block. Skaven just can't stand up to that kind of luck for long. Fortunately for me, it didn't last long, and I was able to use some daring blitzes to free up the ball, score, then keep him out of the endzone first half. Second half, all I needed was a 4+ pass w/rr to score a second time, but it wasn't to be, and he returned the bobbled pass the other way for a score. A typical skaven speed score followed (although it took a little more agi 3 dodging than I like), and he had 3 turns to equalize. A wasted block by a rookie black orc reduced this to two, but he made it, dodging around like elves.
Lost a rookie linerat, gained enough cash for another rr, game's a draw. Yep, that'll work.”
