A foul forced the apo's hand in the very first turn to negate a niggle (incredibly, the apo worked this time! Guess the drubbing he got after allowing failure his previous two attempts taught him a lesson...). The very next turn, that same player who'd been apo'd got bh'd. One of my catchers suffered later, and a stone from the fans took out one of my top linemen. Combine with my absolute inability to pick up the ball, it led to the elves winning the game very late. First half I had a chance, but failed 5 straight turns of trying to pick up the blasted thing, just inches from the goalline! Guess practice this week will consist of ball-handling drills...
