“This game had a real mix of emtions going for me. Foremost was frustration, as stupid mistakes on my part allowed him to break loose from what should have been strangle-hold defenses to score twice. KO's and cas were plentiful second half as well, reducing my numbers to where there was nothing I could have done, but that doesn't make me feel any better.
What did make me feel better was the admission from my opponent that he's been a long admirer of the Scions team. In fact, he's been spectating their games, learning insights, almost from the team creation! Imagine that! Here I thought nobody outside of our immediate opponent would even know our name, and we have an honest-to-gosh fan! No wonder we couldn't do anything against him--he'd been coaching his players on our tactics, strengths and weaknesses, so they were prepared! (That blasted wizard caused a hell of a lot of damage, too, though. Most effective use of one I've ever seen...)
So while we'll probably say goodbye to Brin in order to free up some TR room, the game ended more or less honorably, with few ill feelings. Only the burning desire to kick some orc butt in the rematch! You'd better be looking over your shoulder, Mully, b/c the Scions have a long history, and we never forget... ;-)
Edit: WTF is up with our fans??? Losing ff in three straight games, 4 times in the last 5??? A team can't continue like this!!!”

Mustang (and gang) : (grunt grunt grunt, burp, fart) We LOVE HUMANS, so tasty and soft. Another easy Victory.
Mully : Yeah its the Scions of Shannara from the AFK_Eagle province
Mustang : uhhh... but they're legends coach. Alomost 100 games played. They were past 50 games when we were still beating slaves. Are you sure this is a good idea?
Mully : Well, we'll get a Wizard just in case. They look strong but not very agile.

TO THE GAME
The overzealous fans rioted to start the game. Anxious to take a piece of the Scions home with them. Fine defence and 2 KOs to start the game forced a desperation pass (well 4+) which was caught for a TD and a 1-0 game.
Perfect defence greeted the Orcs on the ensuing kickoff and with only 4 turns to score it didnt look good. Turn 7 we were ALL bottled up until a combination of good dice and brilliant chain pushing freed up the ball carrier to within 5 squares of the endzone. A double skull by the humans in T8 ensured the tying score UNTIL Mully tried to dodge out of a tackle zone (for no reason). The dodge failed but the reroll worked and we slinked into the locker room tied at 1-1.
Second half and we were feeling upbeat until another perfect defence shattered our momentum. We were surrounded and screwed within 2 turns.
T3 the Scions missed muptiple attempts to get close to the ball carrier before a last ditch dodge and blitz took him down. The ball scattered to the Ogre who had boneheaded. (although I though boneheaded players shouldnt be able to catch a bouncing ball). Well..... he grabbed it anyway and the cage was formed.
POW - a fireball erupted knocking the ball free and sending a blitzer to the KO box. We surrounded it as good as we could. T4, and the Scions rolled poorly, ending with the STR4 blitzer failing a dodge and KOing himself.
It was effectively over at that point.
Dice went my way today.
There was some chatter about a foul I committed in the 2nd half (only one of the game). Thinking 1 turn ahead I felt it was an appropriate action consdiering I felt the game was still far from over. The only standout moment was when a disgruntled Eagle wrote "go on and finish with the beating" and the next block against him was an RIP (saved).
