“A game of wild action and even wilder hitting! He opened the game with every single block thrown the first three turns breaking armor, garnering three cas (an apo negated RIP already!), several ko's and many stuns. His claws sure were shiny today! Eventually our star rat ogre 600 lb decided enough was enough, and POW!! He started doing his own hitting back.

We lost this game from several squandered opportunities. Yes, it was technically a draw, but we should have scored at least twice more. First half, we intercept a pass and have the rats in position to run escort to the endzone, but fumble the ball, then fail to pick it back up afterwards. One score missed.

Second half, it was a tense match, as both sides are causing cas and ko's left and right, fewer and fewer players are left on the pitch. He gets way down towards my endzone, and his blodger has the ball. I can only lay a 1d block on him...POW!! Down he goes, ball is picked up by my gutter, who races ahead to throw it to...my rat ogre!!! The crowd's going nuts, the RO is racing toward paydirt, it'll take a miracle for him to reach me now! My remaining rats are getting pummelled behind him, but 600 lb has smelled touchdown dirt before, and he won't be denied!

That is, of course, unless he rolls a 1 on his WA roll while blitzing only 3 squares away from the endzone in turn 8 of the second half...

All told, we got out of this match lucky. The way he was breaking armor early, I was sorely tempted to concede just to save my team's life! But we fought back in unbelievable! fashion, and it was only ill fate which stopped us from winning. The fans were disappointed to not see their favorite rat score, but he's always learning new tricks, such as how to break tackles using his immense strength (and passing his 51 spp skill roll w/o aging!). Next game, next game...”
