“The Gypsies hit bottom.
Absolutely grim luck plagued the Gypsies from the first play. By the end of the first half, the Gypsies were down 0-3. Both throwers had failed every attempt to pick up a ball. Cougar killed himself while going for a few extra yards. Thankfully the apothecary brought him back.
Rumors have been swirling around for months that Gustav was the source of the teams misfortunes. Cursed by an Orc shaman, they said. The team denied it, but yet the team kept losing. Gustav was pushed into the crowd by the elves and our own fans tried to kill him! It seemed the only way to save the team was to retire Gustav. The fans were so happy they awarded him MVP of the game!
The team found life in the second half (coincidentally Gustav II was gone....) Jones stepped it up and brought home 2 unanswered TDS and would've had a third if the elves hadn't have pulled off an extraoridinary full field TD.
So the Gypsies are ready. Lean and mean and with a fresh recruit Gustav Holy-Throw the THIRD. Will this be the beginning of a new start? Or the recognition of a gigantic blunder?!?

The luck was VERY onesided, and I actually think that the luck´O´meter was at 14% around halftime for the Gypsies.
But not once did he bitch - impressive. Taking it all with a smile.
Johnny_Ryce certainly got a star in my book after this game.
