“wow! what a game.... we scored easily in two turns; joshua orchestrated a good running manouver ending in a short pass to ione. however, at the restart our opponents were in no hurry to score, and having the ref on their side meant it was going to be a long half. they held the ball up and fouled key players all half, effectively limiting our attacking options, and ensuring they went over in turn eight for the equaliser. very clinical play from the undead team.

in the second half we knew that the same slow pace would be evident, and we would lose to a last turn score.... unless we did something drastic. we set up with one thing in mind - foul them off the park, and hope to prevent stalling. our tactics worked, and although we could not prevent them from scoring, we did limit them to only 4 turns, giving ourselves plenty of time to equalise.

normally joshua is very reliable, but this time he took two attempts for the equalising TD.... and both times he failed. first was perhaps expected; a long bomb from the halfway line being fumbled on the reroll. up stepped dahybi to take a starring role. two blitzes in two turns freed up the ball and allowed us finally, and with some stress to go across for 2-2. i dont even want to talk about the mummy intercepting joshuas second attempt....... a mummy with dodge making interceptions - sounds like a bad dream come true =)”
