Berdollo must have gone mad with the dodgy game my elves pulled and I must admit that I did have tremendous luck with my dodge rolls. I cannot remember ever failing one other than snake eyes twice(!) on the guy that should know what he was doing, my catcher.

The Lustrians received in a very sunny weather. In a nifty leap display my wardancer managed to strip the ball from his skinks. From there on it was a grab game for the ball. In the end, my elves managed to set the 1-0 on the score board in the last turn of the first half.

Second half I fielded 7 elves versus his assortment of 11 players. (Did I mention the Ogre and Kroxigor?) I was pretty sure I would not be able to hold him back. Then the crowd rioted! (4 turns down the drain)

I could suddenly hope for a tie! I managed to hold him back for a few turns and was even able to strip the ball again. The game ended in a victory.

Berdollo was a good sport but certainly unlucky here and there. The riot cost him the tie and perhaps the game. I could not have taken more of a beating. Lucky for me, everyone was either KO-ed or BH.
