“This game featured one of the most wierd calls the from the officials. After scoring a TD in the first half the Elf Drinkers where celebrating at halftime. Little did they know that Coach John Medden of the Marienburg Mariners had challengde a rulling on the pitch where Mariners blocker Ernie Conwell was pulled down with down by with illigal contact by a dwarf blocker. The challenge came so late because of the riot that broke out after the Touchdown.
As the Elf Drinkers took the pitch they were informed that the game would reset from the play just before the touchdown and this time the Mariners were able to tackle the ball carrier and stop the touchdown.
As the halftime whistle sounded the referee staff took a mighty loss as senior official Barney Buttercup, a 7 year veteran halfling official, was brutally strangled by the Chaos Dwarf coach, who was screaming at the time. "DIS IS DA BIGGAST OUTRAGE...CHANGE DA CALL!!!!!"

The Elf Drinkers managed to win the game by scoring a Touchdown late in the second half.”
