#5 Merry – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#6 Sam – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#6 Sam – Smashed Hip (-MA)
The Hoodlums first win against non-stunty opponents in 15 matches!

The whole team put everything on the line for this one and the fans were rewarded with a stellar display of football they won't soon forget!

Special mention goes to the Hoodlums star blitzer Baggage who played a key roll in the teams success by consistently confounded the oppositions scoreing attempts with his relentles tenacity.
Also a very promising start came from the teams newest recruit Bob The Hammer. A handy 1st half touch-down gave the Hood's a comfortable 2-0 lead going into the second half.

Commiserations go to Scion's player House Master Tulan who met an untimely end after being solidly blocked by Hoodlums treeman TrundleTrunk .

P.S. The Hoodlums management would like to get in touch with the group of talented cheerleaders who 'supported' the opposition during this match. They wish to know if they would be interested in provideing the service on a more regular basis. ;)

#5 House Master Tulan – Dead (RIP)
Yeah, that free cheerleader for a handicap sure did a lot of good. Incited two riots, one at the end of each half, each time when I'm set to receive to try for a score in response to his. Think she also distracted the apo, who wasn't paying attention to his work in trying to save Tulan from death, he was too busy looking up at her shaking her thing.

Other than that, we were just simply outplayed by a bunch of pint-sized twerps! Baggage truly had it in for us this game, nearly singlehandedly wrecking all our plans. He was laying down POWs on our ball-handler; he was impossible to knock down himself; regardless the dodge/pickup roll, he succeeded; he was an all around menace!!! His TTM strategy worked all but once (to rather amusing effect), and I failed every single dodge I attempted. For the first time as a franchise, the new Scions have been held scoreless. However, it was such an entertaining game even the fans appreciated it (despite the loss). Now if we can only keep our blitzers alive a little bit longer...out of our 4 original blitzers, one's survived to his second skill, while two are dead and the third niggled/retired. These guys ain't cheap, you know!
