The final turned out to be one of the most intense rock n'roll performances ever with two teams who never gave up on trying to score or hurt each other. Lady luck changed sides several times during the game, which made it very tight and equal.
Semi-Goods had brought in Super-producer Varag Ghoul-Chewer and he showed his skills scoring their TD in the last round of the first half after a half of mean blocks from both sides, which sent several players out of the game.

In the second half the Brits quickly managed to get a good attack but the final pass missed miserably. The rest of the half included some mean fighting for the ball as Britpop struggled for an equaliser. It came in the dying moments of the game in a heroic attack where a blitzer dodged picking up the ball and passing it to a lineman who was marked by an opposing player and therefore had to dodge to score.

In overtime both teams where lacking rerolls and skulls and double skulls became more frequent. None the teams managed to establish winning attacks and the injured players became more and more.
So it all ended in a silly coin toss.

Head Coach of the brits had following statement:
My heart stopped several times in this game. Excellent performance by both teams. They really gave the fans a great Blood Bowl Rock n’Roll show. I don’t like that it had to end with some silly coin. I mean all players on the field gave their guts for winning today and then the champs are found with a coin ! I would have preferred to win or to loose clearly. Anyway a big cheers to Semi-Gods and Captain 1821 with the victory and a superbly played game.
