“Not winning was never so easy!
After the fans of the chaos team almost killed Rookie the woodelf- fans lost all of their good behaviour and jumped on to the field to hold the game for 4 turns to make it for the Evangelists impossible to tie after the winning TD was scored.
Both coaches had their chances and both tried and kept trying, but for
luck was evenly spread and the enormous intercepting skills of our opponent forced us into defense more often than we liked to.
We played a very agile and well coached Chaos team which could have mopped the floor with our dead bodies but as they didnt the fans decided to take things into their own hands.
A little confused but still i'll remember that game as a very funny and fair one!”

At first I honestly thought I had zero chance of tie/winning this game. I had 11 players, 4 niggles and gave up 3 handicap rolls. Fortunately the handicaps weren't bad but 2 of my niggles missed the game (damned 1's).
Selecao Brasileira were abit low on players too (11 made it I think) though. Basically I was hard pressed to get a TD, and then after a clutch interception by Professor Darryl I managed to take it down field again. But some good coaching by Omightyme enabled Selecao to get the equalizer late in the first half.
Second half was looking grim for me.. and my fanclub decided to react and take matters into their own hands! That's right, a nasty pitch invasion occurred (badly hurting a Wardancer and killing an elf, fortunately the apothecary was there to save him)! This swayed things into my favour once again.
However I was forced to play defensive due to the Wood Elf Catchers. I did manage to hold off the Elves until late second half, where a pass into the endzone would have made it 2-1 for Selecao Brasileira. However... Brother Cliff used Pass Block to it's fullest and pulled off a heroic interception to keep the tie! Two interceptions.. 1 game.. chaos.. unreal. :)
