The first game of 'Curse of Bad Luck Attraction', my aged-on-3rd skill warrior with his new niggle. And promptly missed the match.
Squad reduced to 11 players.

I got 2 handicaps; one extra RR and I was allowed to field 12 players. (Nuffle had a chuckle or two I bet)

But in all fairness he did not truly hammer me.
Sure I got an early cas and a KO but in the end I managed to score.
Then it matters little if you had poor dice IMO. 1-0 is 1-0. ;p

In the second half I was able to put 9 men on the pitch vs a Troll, 9 Orcs and a gobbo. He passed the ball to his gobbo but he underestimated the speed and agility of my Chaos warriors; with a dodge and two gfi he could just blitz the poor thing. Ball loose but to a square away from me, out of reach. Then my poor dice spilt over and his AG4 blitzer failed to pick up the ball (with RR!)

A huge scrap ensued but -again- in the end I manage to pry the ball loose and score 2-0. All he could do was try and lob the gobbo but he failed to land on his feet.

Game over.

Of course my FF did not go up. (a mere 3+ for FF) but at least I had some decent winnings.”
