Aye.. 'twas a fun game that ended in a well deserved draw (both ways). It's amazing how many double skulls both teams rolled, I just don't recall seeing something like that. Basically the dice decided that I was meant to score in the first half, and then the dice decided that the dwarves should score in the second. Very strange.. yet I feel content.

Some of the younger Evangelists got some much needed experience and are developing nicely. Not only that but Brother Cliff is moving up on the Top 10 list for chaos passers! It's hoped he'll either make second place behind Brother Bo or surpass his amazing feat and claim first. Regardless, he's certainly had a nice career so far.

Thanks for the game Trif! Both matches against Dig Dug have been enjoyable and I look forward to another rematch.

A fun match again versus these refreshing Chaos types, and this time we managed to take a little from the game. Last time we felt hard done by, this time....well i think both teams had a go =)

They were all over us like a dirty rash for two thirds of the game, and then Horan and Óin combined (via a little Fadhras action) to tie the game at one apeice. An unfortunate series of double skulls had had us on the back foot for much of the first half, and the Evangelists were able to showboat a little as they went over for the opener. Even after this we were unable to do much right, and we thankfully closed the half only 1-0 down.

At the restart we continued where we left off, and were only a few dice rolls from being 2-0 to the bad. Then our luck began to turn.....Forin and Gamil Zirak combined to down the Warrior holding the ball; Óin rushed upfield and Horan picked up the ball under pressure, chucking it upfield with a Hail Mary Pass.* Fadhras rescued Óin from some unwanted attentions, and although the Runner failed to pick the ball up with Sure Hands, he had the luxury of space to take a second attempt. 1-1 with 4 turns remaining.

4 double skulls in the next 3 turns prevented the Evangelists from mounting anything, and it ended 1-1. Four more games until 100....

Player of the game: Although Óin did well, it was Horan's pass upfield that allowed us to take anything from the game. He performed solidly throughout, and never let the side down once.

*one damn ugly sentance, but at one in the morning i can't think how to make it any less horrid =)
