“Oh my, it was one of 'those' games. Nuffle didn't play favorites this one...he gave both teams bad luck and both teams good luck..and it finally settled in the Techies favor..but just barely.
In the First half, KAMU was befuddled by the orcs and could not do much of anything. Heck, even one of the 2 SI'd Longbeards was hurt when an orc frenzied him back, and had a 2db my pick...pow..pow.. And the last 4 turns of the half, ended on a failed Techie GFI. Despite all of that, the dwarves were only behind 1-0, as our defense was still able to slow the orcs down almost enough to keep it scoreless. They scored on turn 7 and that left 2 turns for the dwarves to try to score..Despite a perfect defense, I was able to get Larry thru the line..but he fell down on the 2nd GFI..so I was unable to even the score up in the 1st half.
2nd half, Larry was able to get in on Turn 3..In part due to Bubba Bo Bob's Multiblocking 2 blitzers down and stunning them both then Larry surviving a blitz on him deep in Orc territory due to block/dodge combo. (the orcs had no tacklers).
Then, an amazing thing happened..the orcs rolled skull/skull..rr skull/skull early in their turn on the ensueing Kickoff. This put them in just bad enough position that I was able get to the ball carrier. Despite this, they got the ball into my territory, but the dwarves seemed to be able to dodge at will (stand firm helps), and I knocked it loose--the ball bouncing to a waiting Long beard!
the Long beard was able to hand off to Larry who heaved a long pass to Flash..but flash could not catch it. The orcs got their Agility 4 thrower to the ball, and he tried to throw it back down field, but Flash intercepted it!!! He was able to push the Orc thrower out of the way and score on Dwarven turn 8.
One last attempt to score by the orcs failed as the Troll could not figure out the play (throw the goblin down field!)...oh, the Troll failed his RS roll every turn from 5 on of the 2nd half.
Bam Bam got Mighty Blow and Flash got block..but I'm missing 2 guards next game and my TS is way down (167) in relation to my TR (212)

My opponent had some dreadful luck with the GFI´s during the 1st half.
Apart from there it got bad for me - he had so many wonderful dodges and ball skills I was wandering if I realy was playing dwarves or .....maybe elves.
