“Interesting... The match started off fairly tame. Having done a little homework before, the Thumpers knew they were up against a fouling team. (SPP for 57 cas on the roster and 80 cas total for the team - and 2 DPs -- 1 cas on prior player.) As soon as the Matos Horde got a chance, they fouled Sir Shinkik. The Red Snot Thumpers scored on turn 4, and held the foul horde to a 4 turn drive.
At the kick off for the second half the score was 1-1. The horde had delt quite a few fouls to the poor dwarves. The Thumpers were only able to field 8 - while the entire foul horde was ready to play (even with the 2 casualties inflicted on them in the first half.) The Horde was determined to maim the Thumpers - they fouled every turn that they could in the second half. End result - the Thumpers managed to get the ball from the carrier who assisted in a foul. Then the Thumpers made a mad dash for the horde end zone. Supprise supprise the horde stood at the LOS and bashed on 4 long beards who bravey stood their ground to hold the foul undead back from the ball. The tatic worked and the thumpers beat the overwhelming undead force soundly. 2-1 Thumpers!
The foul undead kept fouling up until the final second of the game, gang banging on the turn 8 foul with their remaining 8 players surrounding Silvery and giving him a good kick in the head. Silvery's thick skull saved him...”
