He received and prepared for impact. No way my one Beast could stand up against 3 trolls and a pumpwagon (second in reserve)

Well; in the end I did. His trolls were very inadequate in getting rid of my Nurgs and while faring only slightly better he did not score.

I received in the second half, slipped past him on one flank and stalled till my 8th turn, hoping to secure the 1-0 lead.

Guess again.

The ball scattered close to his AG4 snot, pick-up; hand-off and lob the tiny feller to my endzone. He landed on his feet only 4 squares away and ignored my Nurgling standing there, scurrying his feet past him.

1-1. Overtime.

Both had no more RR (well; I hadn't, he might have had one) so it was a fumbbl-fest if there ever was one.

But the draw remained.

The judges deemed the Nurglings the heroes of the day, fighting this uphill struggle and we are off for the next round.
