Odd little match.

Started out quite ordinary, with my Pro Elf opponent doing a nice offensive play to take the lead in the first 3 or 4 turns despite pressure on his backs.

And on the resulting kick-off, he got to blitz me. I made one single mistake in the first half, and that was to not to put a tz on the ball at one stage. Cost me the 2nd touchdown.

Despite this, I was hammering his elves a little. The opponent was stacking the line. With Pro Elves. How did he expect to have no casualties? Well, predictabley, 2 of his elves died, 1 was seriously injured. He swore at me at this stage, but I am not the type to hold grudges :)

I had a good running play in the 2nd half, scored, and left myself with 4 or 5 turns to equalize, and I was optimistic, especially as he received the next kick-off with just 6 healthy players on the field. One of his players was hit with a stone, and he promptly conceded.

What have I learnt? Well, obviously not to stack the line when using Pro Elves, but then again, I think we all already know that :)”
