Our first encounter on this planet started quite well--after sending the ball their direction, we took the fight to them and through some skillful maneuvering our away team managed to make the first score. It cost us at home, though, as some redshirts were knocked unconsicous.
Dr. Algernon was unable to bring them back to us before they began the next offense, however, and this time we were unable to stop them, and lost a few more redshirts to the crazed northmen. With only moments left in the second half, and down several members of our team, we were unable to capitalize and regain the upper hand.
We began the second half with renewed hopes, but for naught. The at-appearance soft northerner armor proved much tougher than it looked, and their unskilled (and apparently completely crazy) minotaur never faltered even though he made an attack nearly every turn. We attempted to set up a running offense with Sara and Tara out in front, but P'Nil dropped the ball and we lost our momentum. From there it was over.
The Norsemen were more like robots than men--silent and efficient. All attempts to hail their coach were ignored. As we attempted to recoup our losses and escape, they continued to surround our now-lowered numbers and mercilessly broke Tara's leg. Fortunately, Algernon will be able to revive her, but it will take some time.”
