It slowed his picking up the ball by a good 3 turns, which in turn forced him to be desperate in gfi's at the end of the game to try to win. Fortunately for me, I was able to get a desperation block on his cw in scoring range, which I thought might have sealed the draw for me. (Not bad, considering I had 5 elves on pitch by this point to his 8 or 9!) He got a chain-push going in the middle of the pitch, quite impressive, but lucky for me he failed the pickup one last time. Pity the fans weren't amused...I hate 1's on ff rolls...”
