“ The stands at Wendigo Park filled hours before the match was to kick off. The bright sun shown down on the disciples of Slaneesh and Khorne who came in throngs to experience the game. The Wendigo fans pierced and mutilated their bodies and orgied to the rhythmice chants of the Devil's fans. "Blood for the blood god. Blood for Khorne." The awe inspiring power and intimidation of a stadium filled with chaos was a sight this reporter will not soon forget.
The Wendigoes won the toss and elected to recieve. The strong a passionate wendigoes found the skill and cohesion of the Devils Chaos Dwarf Blockers to be too hard to break. The Centaurs, led by Zeon the Anvil, quickly made their presence felt and the Devil's built a fortress like defense around them. The wendigoes finally achievd a break out but the Beastman Gorxinas was litteraly ran down by Zeon the Anvil. The first half was marked by dramatic defensive play, and was a deathly bore to all except the most educated blood bowl fans. The fans were brought to brief frenzy when Wendigo sat down to eat Zoltan after crippling him with a terrible blow. The Devil's apothecary had fallen asleep while watching the first half and need to be woken up to save Zoltan. The delay proved fatal as Wendigo had already completely cannibalized the head of Zultan. The first half close scoreless.
The Devil's coach commented that he was happy with the first half despite the loss of Zultan. "Sure I would have liked to score, but a TD when you kick is just icing on the cake. The important thing is that our defense held and now we are taking the kick in the second. We are primed to take contol of this game."
The Wenigoes coach emerged from the locker room for the second half leashed and led by Wendigo himself. He was walking funny and wearing a leather gimp mask with the mouth zipped shut so he was unable to comment.
The second half started with Zeon the Anvil taking the ball very close to the Wendigo goal line before he was laid out by Nixon the Despot. The Wendigoes took control of the ball and spent the better part of the second half inching toward the Devil's goal. Zeon the Anvil, stinging from the embarassment of being knocked sillly, chased and caught Nixon the Despot in the waning moments of the scoreless game. Nixon, clearly to most agile member of the wendigoes, could have easily dodged away and raced to the endzone, but with his incredible field vision, he could see the Slaneesh Zealot, Keeper of the POW, closing in from behind. Zeon the Anvil was suprised to see Nixon turn and smash into him. The blow knocked Zeon into the crowd where he was sodomized to death. Nixon waltzed into the endzone and claimed the win for the Wendigoes. The final score Wendigoes 1 Devils 0
