“IT IS OVER! THE GYPSIES HAVE ENDED THEIR 17 GAME WINLESS STREAK!

What a game! Stilgar came out pounding the battered Gypsies, but the boys from Darkwater decided step it up. The mayor of Darkwater put the team on temporary hold and a couple weeks of self reflection is probably what this team needed.

The first half was dominated by the powerful dwarves. Still, both Blue Dancer and Sweet Baby Ray threw successful blocks against stronger opponents to cause the Old Worlders to fumble twice. It wasn't enough however, and the dwarves ground in a score towards the end of the half. Darkwater responded with a powerful drive and a huge TD by the veteran Jones himself. Still the drive resulted in the death of Bloody Ben Valentine. In a risky move, the team doctor brought him back to life. Would that come back to haunt us later?

The second half started poorly, when Jones missed his reception on the first play and Johnny Gauntlet got a broken rib. The dwarves recovered and started driving. None other than the Cougar dodged several opponents to try and stop the drive, but he only managed to push the dwarf back. Still, the Old Worlders were struck with a bolt of bad luck and Cougar got the ball on his next try! He ran around and worked along a poorly defended side to get the ball to Jones. And in our last play of the game, Jones flattened a Troll Slayer to bring home the game winning TD!!!

And yet, we lose a fan factor. In fact both teams did. And neither of just got paid well, to think about it. Sigh.
