Thanks to lots of early armour breaking they were soon outnumbering their opponents, who had been able to score in spite of being badly battered, and could capitalize on that in a last turn first half draw.

The second half saw the Vikings beginning with the offense and reducing the numbers of the Devils even more, still the Devil's Ogre managed to seriously injour our Skald, but - being a true Northman - he refused any help from the apothecary. This turned out to be a healthy decision, when one of the lineman almost killed himself on a dodge.

The Devils were on the brink of drawing the game, when their blitzer failed a crucial blitz to free the ball in turn eight of half two.
