“A well played game deservedly won I would say. I made a few more mistakes than my opponent and he had the necessary luck to capitalize on them. Yes it would have been another game had my team not been under scrutiny, but then again it was violent enough as it was with around 10 cas in total, great fun and really exiting at times with some doubtfull rolls suceeding for both.
And the 2 turn TD was in fact in 3 turns and I only lacked a 4+ pickup and a G0-for-it to score, thanks to the hail mairy pass. Had used my reroll on a misclick though :(.”

For starters it was raining, a reason why the Khemri coach allowed me to receive but the first kick-off event was weather change. Perfect bloodbowl weather.
Secondly I received one handicap and it turned out to be 'under scrutiny', thus rendering his dirty player useless. Something I am very, very happy for with the benefit of hindsight, having heard that this team usually fouls heavily.
The 'feeling good' sensation evaporated disgustingly soon after a turn of blocking in which I achieved only one downed skeleton.
After that the pressure from 4 mummies almost made my defense collapse but my MA8 blodging ghoul saved the day in the end. Leaving only 2 turns for Khemri to score which simply is not enough.
The second half my kick went very, very deep and when he had a turnover after a few blocks a ghoul and a wight blitzed a hole on one far side ans slipped past his lines. Thus threatening the ball in a serious manner. In the end he saw no other option than to use his 'hail mary pass' and hope for the best.
Which was not good enough once more. The same blodging MA8 ghoul rushed to the ball and picked it up. two turns later I slipped past his lines, this time with the ball.
I even had the nerve to hand it off to the other ghoul with 3 spp's for a skill.
2-0 but a tougher match than the result indicates.
The MVP went for once to the player whom deserved it the most; the star-ghoul. Earning him a skill to boot.

-Sure it was only a 4+ pick-up and one gfi.
AFTER knocking down the side-stepping blodging ghoul without tackle.
I'd have had him sidestep onto the ball; with a bit of luck he'd have it picked up but at the very least it would have been a 5+ to pick it up.
Yet a clean POW used up all your luck for that turn I guess.
