I've never seen the crew more interested in a game. I'm not sure it's good for them, psychologically, to be so obsessed. Still, it's better than brooding on how we're trapped on this forsaken planet. And after what happened to Squinty... well, let's just say I'm glad he's back to his books. And Fiztail nearly died! I'm just glad that Algernon is such a skilled doctor.

Some lizards visited our ship and challenged us. They must have been awfully surprised by the technology in our cargo hold/stadium, and I don't think they were paying attention to the game for the first half. Tara just ran back and picked up the ball from them, three times.

Those skinks are so cute, though! And they're a lot tougher than they look. I don't think our crew got through their scaly armor once!

During halftime we gave them a tour of the ship, to try to get them to relax and feel more comfortable, and they took it quite well. Too well, I fear, as they realized how badly they were losing and proceeded to attack our crew furiously. We never managed to advance the ball and they finally stopped attacking and advanced on our goal in the last few seconds of the game.

The captain seems to be doing better. I think he even managed to watch part of the match. He's had Algernon doing some experiments with the warpstone... I hope he knows what he's doing. I think the newness of our ship is wearing off, as even with our positive performances, we've been getting less and less visitors to our games. I hope this trend will reverse itself or we'll never be able to buy enough warpstone and supplies to go home.”
