“The Blood of the Innocent were in trouble at the start when 3 of their 4 vampires couldn't be found at the start of the match, it turned out they were out snacking on the crowd! Not surprising given the sweltering hot conditions.

The Blood soon found themselves being snacked on by the Bad Boyz who were knocking out players or injuring them with ease. The remaining Blood players on the pitch decided to play dead and lay still on the astroturf, and with no one else to hit, and no inclination to foul, the Bad Boyz scored the opening TD of the match late in the first period.

In the second half, the Bad Boyz were in offence and powered their way to a second TD through caging and bashing the silly Thralls that tried to slow them down.

The Blood scored a reply late in the half when the Boyz were unable to bring down the Vamp carrying the ball (it was down to a one dice blitz, I had Block and he didn't have Block or Dodge and I got a skull LOL).

With no time left in the game to score, Black Orc Blocker Varg Bonebreaker decided to try his hand at passing, and he scooped up the loose ball and fired a quick pass at a nearby and surpirsed Line Orc who copped the ball in the face, but managed to hang onto it to register a completion for Bonebreaker.

A very fun game. My opponent had a lot of bad luck, in the first half, he was trying to blitz off the sideline to get closer to scoring and rolled a skull/pow and rerolled it into a skull/pow again. He fell over, I didn't, and I got the ball and sent it up the other end for a score.

Nuffle was also very mean to my opponent, giving him 4 serious injuries and only 1 Badly Hurt. Two of the injuries were due to me rolling a Skull/Pow and a Push with a rookie Black Orc Blocker and me taking the Skull/Pow LOL.

Highlight of the match was the skill rolls, where Varg Bonebreaker, Black Orc Blocker and back up quarterback got +1 Strength from making his pass LOL.”
