“Well.. having no tackle really sucks. After the opponent suffered from Virus I figured I might be able to salvage a tie. But the elves and their 4ST/5AG leaping demon thought otherwise.. scoring two touchdowns in the first half.
After some failed rolls all around, a scrum formed and the Evangelists pushed forward an ugly touchdown to end the half.
Second half saw us receiving but the demon <b>Zatok Bane</b> just could not be stopped. But after a failure dodging or leaping we took our chances and marched up field. The elves almost stopped our advance but we managed to squeak in the tying TD on turn 4 or 5 I think.
Regardless, the elves smelled blood and wreaked of fury.. and moved up field with Zatok holding the ball. In the end Zatok got away from Tentacles but failed his dodge (1, 1). This gave us a chance to do.. something. So we blitzed a dark elf to free up a beastman to go downfield. Except the blitz went awry and we were forced to run the useless Minotaur down field.
To everyones complete shock Devin I. Carter threw a longbomb to the Minotaur.. and the Minotaur caught it! With only AG 1, on a long bomb, he caught the ball... the elves were so dismayed that they failed a GFI to get near him.. allowing him to blitz his way to the endzone, making a GFI for the game winner.
It was sick and wrong, bottom line. We did not deserve the win at all. Maybe at 76spp the Mino will get Big Hand. :P

It all started pretty bad with Farox Verin, Ish Palis and Ash Do'Karr suffering from some virus that no doubt was planted by the Evangelists or their fans. This left us with only 10 players for the first kick-off, 2 of which were rookies.
As soon as the ball was kicked and the Dragons received it all looked like normal though. A quick td gave some confidence to the outnumbered Dark Elves, and soon after Zatok Bane took advantage of some overconfident offensive moves that left the ballcarrier exposed to a leaping blitz. 2-0.
This was when it all started to go wrong. With a good chance of stopping the Evangelists from getting any clearcut chances of a first half TD the usually solid defense of the Dragons suddenly made all the wrong moves. 2-1 in halftime.
Second half started with the Evangelists receiving and the elven plan was to hold off the probable TD long enough for a late play to win the game. At this point of the match Zatok started dodging like a Treeman on sedatives and that was not a pretty sight I tell you all. After failing a couple of chances at taking care of the ball Chaos got that TD, still with enough time for the Dragons to win it. It was not to be though, instead the most unlikely player came to be the hero of the game....
The fans were in shock as they saw a confused minotaur run in the winning TD after catching a long bomb on one of his horns.
Thanks for the game Aequitas, and as I have said before, the games against your Evangelists are never boring. This one was an all time high for exciting finish though. ;)”
